June 2011 Schothorst Feed Research in Holland. Universal Highways undertook the install of the UVOLVE Calrity system with anti slip properties to test the long tern effects on the livestock when the flooring has a coating rather than bare concrete. The benefits should be from reduced bacterial loading, ease of clean, reduced animal injury due to slips on fecal matter etc. The tests will take 12 months and will be in conjunction with DSM. The aim would be to prove that the system really adds benefit to the livestock's environment and life, there are over 15 million square metres of Broiler Chick sheds just in Holland and each one is a potential customer.
